Of course, I'm not just the messenger, but the one who also made the mistake.
But, please hold your fire anyhow.
You see I've been so flattered by all of the comments and emails about how y'all are anticipating the reveal of the changes in my classroom.
All week I've beed reading things like, "Can't wait until the 17th" and "Looking forward to the 17th!"
Sounded fine to me.
And then I got an email this morning that read, "I'm so excited to see your pictures today."
HUH?!?!?
And then I read through my comments and came across one from last night that said, "The 17th is tomorrow. Can't wait!"
YIKES!!! EGATS!!! HOLY SMOKES!!
You see, it has always been my intention to get my classroom ready for the fall before I leave for summer vacation...
this Wednesday....
the 20th!
So when I planned out the blog for the next few weeks I figured I would finish the room and take the pictures and give myself a few days to edit them and prepare the blog posts. I looked at the calendar and jotted down the following Sunday for "the reveal."
And then I somehow goofed and copied the 17th into my notes.
And then posted it in the image all week with the inspired series.
So I feel bad...but since the room isn't done I have no pictures to post yet.
But, what I can do is throw a sale your way.
Because while the post popular email topic this week has been, "can't wait for the reveal," the second most popular email topic has been, "Are you planning any more sales anytime soon."
Honestly, the answer was no. I had no intention of holding any more sales until if and when TPT decided to do a back to school sale around Labor Day, but because I do feel really awful about my goof I figured it was the least I could do.
And so I am having a flash sale.
The means its a super-quickie. Everything in my store is currently 20%, but the sale will end sometime before tomorrow morning. I included everything including my most popular summer sellers: The Clutter-Free Guide to Organizing and Managing Your Classroom and ALL of my Classroom Theme Bundles and color scheme decor packets (including my new Blackline Design Series which I have not yet featured on the blog, but is my personal favorite line...and what I'll be using tons from this year)
So sorry about the mistake, but I o pinky promise to have it all up and ready next Sunday. :)
I think teachers go into "summer mode" when it comes to time and days. More than once I've had to check the newspaper or computer to see what day it is! I look forward to the big reveal - next Sunday (I'll be sure to check my newspaper so I don't miss it)!

ReplyDeleteI am loving all your recent posts and it is my goal to pair down and get organized. I have always used STARS as part of my theme (generic, easily changed, not too girl/boy specific). I noticed that on your theme page you have a button for "STARS", however nothing comes up. Am I doing something incorrectly (new to the blog stalking world...) Or is this a theme to come?

DeleteYou are so lucky to be able to set up your room fir the fall and then leave to enjoy your vacation. We have to pick everyhing up from the floors and can't get back in until a few days before our in-service days begin... Which only includes one day free in our rooms.
